VFFs and C2s
...First of all, I purchased some VFF KSOs the other day and finally 'really' ran in them today doing my 800x4. I could not be happier, LOVED them!!!
Secondly, I am officially in the market for a C2 now. Finally got financially ready (and approved by the wife) to commit. Anyone have any knowledge of a good deal, preferably used, but new if it is indeed a good deal? |

Re: VFFs and C2s
Brian,
Your best bet is to go to www.row2k.com (WFS) and go to the classifieds section and look for ergs. Another option is to look at regattas during the winter season and see if there are any indoor regattas in your area between now and March - sometimes the ergs used are club ergs - however, sometimes the regatta will be sponsored by Concept 2 and they will be available after the regatta for a discounted price (usually $700-750 after being used for 5 hours). C.R.A.S.H. B's - the largest indoor regatta in the world that takes place in Boston sells their ergs - however, you need to pick them up in person and they go pretty quickly. |
