It is amazing how easy it is to go "back on the wagon" I am impressed with how much better I feel this way. I wasn't really aware of it until I lapsed last weekend and went back on. A night and day comparison.

Although I had planned to fall off the wagon and tried to stay as much as I can w/ the no carb/no sugar plan, it wasn't very successful. After 3 days, I feel quite yucky!! I can't wait to start my IF and get back to the no carb no sugar food. I can't believe how much this diet has affected my reaction to foods like PBJ and pizza!
I had one drink - but that didnt' bother me at all though. I drank a ton of water w/ the drink...maybe that helped! Vanessa - can't wait for the nutella recepie! I and the kids love the stuff. |

I have a question - how early can children get on the no carb no sugar diet? I read a lot of stuff that paleo is not for growing children.
Are any of you w/ kids feeding them paleo or zone or no carb no sugar? |

Don't go out of your way to limit macro nutrients, but how could it possibly be bad for a growing child to eat only real food?

I can't even put sugar in my coffee anymore. It tastes like some weird, confused drink.
Plus it takes that bitter "zing" out of it. With the 21 days long over, I'm still on the program. I had a few speed bumps, but they were conscious ones on my part. My wife sent me some Rice Krispee treats, and my sister sent me a microwaveable cake-bowl for my birthday. I couldn't, in good conscience, ignore their gifts (though they did sit on the shelf until AFTER the 21 days was up). And, I had some blueberry pancakes at the dining facility after a run. Still, I've managed to get some other people on the "no grains/sugar" bandwagon, after they saw my results. Hooray for stoked metabolisms! |

i have an update:
i have been staying almost 100% sugar/ grain free still with a planned weekend cheat here and there. my weight is down 11 pounds since the start of the challenge. i just redid my measurements yesterday and i have lost .5 inch to 1 in all my body parts except for my waistline in which i lost 2.5 inches. this is in just over a months time. |
