War Games

We are hosting an event in downtown West Palm Beach 4th of July weekend that puts the four branches of our military (Army vs. Navy vs. Air Force vs. Marines) at odds in a physically grueling competition as well as Adaptive Athletes in both a scaled and Rx format. This weekend draws over 150,000 people into the downtown area and it kicks off with a Pub Crawl July 3rd to raise both awareness and money for the military and adaptive charities we are supporting. Saturday July 4th is the busiest weekend of the year in the downtown area. You won't want to miss this! We are asking for your help in participating in the event that supports 2 tremendous causes: giving back to those who fight to support and defend our freedoms and way of life, as well as bringing awareness to the fact that 22 soldiers commit suicide daily in America. It will also serve to highlight that people with adaptations (prosthetics, neurological deficits, traumatic brain injuries, paralysis etc.) deserve their own platform and inclusion into all aspects of sporting ventures and can achieve success and thrive despite their daily circumstances. Our adaptive athletes have huge presence in social media and have hundreds of thousands of supporters/followers. As a board member for I AM ADAPTIVE, I can assure you that the viral campaign following the event will reach an unheard of number of people for this type of event. It is being photographed by the exceptional Jorge Huerta Photography and we have drone coverage by way of Aerial Gold Photography. The City of West Palm Beach is assisting in hosting this event and is marketing it heavily as well.
The event will consist of teams and individuals performing highly functional and demanding tasks on a course over three events with a championship round. It will illustrate how skilled and how hard our armed forces truly are as well as to highlight the indomitable spirit that humans posses in adverse conditions. This will take place amidst a backdrop of Military vehicles at the Meyer amphitheater that will be truly one of the most patriotic events to ever take place locally. Fire trucks will have their ladders raised and a 30 ft American flag will suspend over the field. A nostalgic Huey gunship and Willy Jeep with a .50 cal will be present on the field. Spectators will don camouflage face paint in the color scheme of the team they are rooting for. Military personnel will be onsite to show off military vehicle including transporters, Humvees, and other devices used in current day defense. A formal color guard, bag pipers, and the National anthem will set the stage and we currently have commitments for numerous surprises that our military have offered to demonstrate in an effort to bring attention to what our military capabilities are. It is our hope that you can attend, compete, or spread awareness and assist us in putting on this event that encompasses everything that makes this country the greatest in the world. We will be having silent auctions, gift bags for athletes and raffles to raise funds for numerous military charities that serve to give back to those that sacrifice for us.

Re: War Games

We just received 20 rooms at $109.00 per night in the middle of downtown WPB. This includes parking daily as well as free wifi and breakfast. Use the code G-WAR1 to get it. We have also secured 50 rooms at the Marriott Courtyard next to the Airport about a mile away from the event at $89.00 per night. Use the code 22untilnone for the discounted rate. Cant wait to see you there...
