It's 2015 and it time for the Open - are you ready.

We all talk the talk and do the walk, But are you ready to take it on?

Have you prepared for the 2015 Open or just going with the flow?

Where on the leaderboard would you like to be at the end?
Better than today, stronger than tomorrow.

Mostly going w/ the flow, thinking more about 10 min and under WODs as that's what we'll see.
Hope to stay in 20% of my age group...

I'm hoping to complete all Open WOD's RX again this year.

I'm 43 and since the last open I've gained ring muscle ups, chest to bar pullups, and I can do 30 straight double unders vs 5-7 last year. Unfortunately I have not made much progress on my overhead squats. Shoulder mobility still sucks despite yoga and working specifically on the problem. I cannot lock out my elbows on either OHS or handstand holds. Need to figure out something for this eventually.

All in all I hope to work hard and be happy with my effort more than my score or position. And I love to cheer on the other athletes at my box.

As mentioned previously.....not really interested. Ready, I guess so although I have this sneaking suspicion the whole scaled thing is going to throw a wrench into what people's expectations are on Week 1.

I have yet to sign up and have done so (with relative enthusiasm) every year since 2011.

For me this year I am hoping to be a lot less "into" it, do the week's workout and not worry too much about leaderboarding. I know I am not top 20 but I will be interested to see how I stack up to Masters as that is where I am closest to.

Was going in with a head of steam.. back injury at the OC Throwdown made me miss the Wadapollza in Miami.

1 more year of cross fit under my belt. The understanding of what I need to do in the open.

Realize that mobility is key to staying healthy. Got diet, training, coaching, programming good.. lacking element was tight hips, thighs, hamstrings.. mobility is top of the important list.

Getting repaired for the open in 5-6 weeks.

No checking the leader board so many times each day.

Watch the announcement, go thru the workout and break it apart, strategize for the next day. Check some scores on the board... then zing it and leave it on the floor.

Rest up, train more and possibly hit it again on that Monday if needed.

Mental prep and going HAM is the key for me. No saving things.

Feeling ready for what ever happens and what ever they throw at me.

Being ready for new exercises, heavy weight, long and short met cons. Might be a 3 rep max and a met con.. who knows.. that is part of the cool thing..

Be better to the people around me especially my GF and daughter.

I intend for it kick my ***.

15.1 is also gonna be a fundraiser at my buddy's gym for some gal with cancer

I will probably do some kind of KB/BW workout this weekend as part of another fundraiser I saw online a friend is attending. Just need to cut them a paypal. It'll be a good excuse to do some conditioning.
