Matt & Jen's garage log

We are starting a new journey working out together in our garage in Addis, LA. Don't have everything yet (like a pullup bar, e.g.), but we were able to get in a short partner workout tonight to break things in.

10 minute AMRAP:

one partner holds the 45# barbell overhead, while the other completes:

10 russian KB swings (53 for me, 35 for Jen)
10 lunges
10 pushups

then switch. When both partners complete a round of 10/10/10, that's one overall round.

We got 4 total rounds, and I got through 4 pushups on the start of the 5th.

21-15-9 pushups/situps
30 swings

11 burpees
5 power cleans (95/45)
22 situps

Today, 150201 (just me)

10 minute AMRAP

10 53# russian KB swings
1 95# bear complex (power clean, front squat, push press, back squat, push jerk)
10 swings
2 bear complexes
.
.
.
etc.

Got up to 5 bear complexes complete, then did 10 more swings and 1 complex before time ran out

Cashed out with 50 abmat situps

Last night, 150203

5 push press (65/45)
5 overhead squats (65/45)

I completed 8 rounds + 6 swings
Jen completed 7 rounds + 10 swings + 5 push press (switched to 35# goblet squats from OHS after a few minutes)

1 95/45# Curtis P (Hang power clean, lunge right, lunge left, push press)
5 burpees
2 Curtis P's
5 burpees
3 Curtis P's
5 burpees
2 Curtis P's

.
etc.

Finished 6 rounds and 1 Curtis P.
