Considering there was no restriction put out by HQ can you really say that? Where in the rules does it specifically disallow that kind of bar?

Not trying to jump to defend anyone, but its a good thought if in fact it is a gymnastics bar. I'm guessing it will be addressed in the future now.

Side note - Am I the only one who thinks her range on the squats is extremely close to/if not short of full ROM? I think I have a skewed perception of what a full squat is for competition (assuming I'm the only one who thinks its not down far enough).

I thought that too, then I paused a bunch of reps and she was either at or below parallel every time. I think she just goes so quick you can't really tell unless you slow it down or pause it at the right time.

I also noticed this. However, she also has very short, muscular legs and thick hips - I'm not sure she's not within inches of bottoming out her ROM.

Right? It's not like someone used a better pair of gloves on rope climbing, it's a piece of equipment fundamentally different from what others are using.

A gymnastics bar, like a high bar, or a fiberglass rail like the uneven bars would make pull ups a lot easier if you can effectively use the flex and spring of the bar.
