Strawberries anyone?

I found the first ripe strawberry of the year in my berry patch today, super-pumped!

You can grow ALOT of strawberries in a small area, like a tractor tire or raised box...

Re: Strawberries anyone?

Yum! I picked a ton of blackberries from the yard last night. Something so satisfying about picking fresh food from your yard.

Re: Strawberries anyone?

Here is some news you can use! Might make those Strawberries a whole lot better.

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0621074314.htm

I found this out from my friends dad who went through chemo and his blood cells dropped very low and the doctor told him that he could not continue with his treatment. My friend then found the info on strawberries and red blood cell increase and told his dad to try eating as many strawberries as he could. The end result two weeks later his blood cell count was back to normal and he could continue with his cancer treatment. Amazing if you ask me.

Our (wild) blackberries won't be ripe until late June / early July, but they're definately worth the wait!

wild blackberries yum. We go pick berries around June and July as well up in the mountains.

I know it isn't paleo and I don't care I love me some canned strawberry preserves.
