Hey Matt it sounds like your SIJ like the previous poster said. Go see your local Chiro he should be able to take care of that with no problem.
For prevention though, a strong core and good flexibility will go a long way. Especially around the hip joint...glut med/max, piriformis, and even the hip flexors which tend to be chronically tight in most people.
After your WOD's throw some ice on there to help with the inflammation.
