Pulled groin

Hey guys and gals so I pulled my right groin coming out of the hole on one of my last reps in a 5x5 back squat workout. I immediately felt it so it wasn't something I noticed the next morning. This was about 2 weeks ago and I've rested it for the first several days and then started doing light cable adductor movements and did light leg extension once so far. While my ROM has gotten way better and pain subsided I feel like I've hit a wall in terms of recovery. What hurts most is extending my leg from lying down or seated. I'm definitely not an anatomy expert so in layman's terms I'd say I feel it especially in whatever runs down the middle left (inner) thigh, high up by my hips and extending about 1/3 the way down. Air squats are fine but as soon as I put an empty bar on my back it hurts while getting close to the bottom/coming up.

Without sounding too blunt........what should I do? I'm scheduling a PT session but that probably won't happen for another week due to my personal schedule.
