Try cutting to 15 minutes befor bed. Most people have a window of 15-45 minutes after taking ZMA where it enhances sleep, but if you're not asleep within that window it causes the restlessness and difficulty sleeping you described. Keep experimenting till you have a good sense of what your window is.
