Here is the previous thread (http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=45580) (w/f/s) about this that includes a Google map of pull-up bars.

Re: Newbie Core Training

Almost every exercise you do in Crossfit makes heavy use of the "core." Unless you have a very specific reason to suspect that your core is holding back your performance, there isn't much sense in...

Re: Wall Ball vs. Thrusters

If you sub thrusters for wall ball, you are missing out on the accuracy, coordination, timing and focus required to consistently throw and hit a specific target and catch the ball again in a smooth,...

Re: Why the hate on high rep TGU for time?

If you are doing an exercise for "high reps" (such as the 21-15-9 scheme) the weights/movements involved should be a very low percentage of your 1RM. Conversely, if you are doing low rep movements...

Re: What is Crossfit Video-What Song is This???

I was wondering the same thing and have been unable to identify it. I even tried a couple iPhone apps (including Shazam) with no luck.

Re: Where are the pull up bars in your home town?

Great idea!

I've created a Google Map of Pull-up Bars (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=111406834029818424369.00048d951635e8f53ad10) (w/f/s) that anyone should be able to edit. So...

Re: Where are the pull up bars in your home town?

This thread has come in handy for me a couple times (including today for doing "Murph"), so I figure I'd add to it and see if it can be revived as a useful resource for others.

Re: Running tip-toe?

No, it isn't. You do NOT just stay up on your toes or the ball of your feet. This is a great way to blow out your calves/achilles tendons in a short time. The idea behind POSE and barefoot running...

The balance ball setup you have will certainly help you develop balance and stability, but I'd argue that there are much more effective tools available that will accomplish the exact same goals:...

Re: What routine to address my weaknesses?

To me, Chris' program looks like it follows CF's normal 3 on, 1 off schedule. So two weeks would look like:

Mon: CFFB
Tue: CFE
Wed: CFFB
Thu: Rest
Fri: CFE
Sat: CFFB
Sun: CFE
Mon: Rest
