I don't think he is saying that they will beat an athlete that is already good in that sport. I think he is trying to say that Crossfitters will be able to pick up the sport quicker and get good at...

There are natural bodybuilders that are pretty big. On the other hand I haven't seen someone who does Crossfit only every be big so far.

What about just doing the hang position/jumping position to the transition to the jump (Aka Scoop) and then the jump shrug. Would that be an effective way of training to get the jump off the toes...

My right wrist clicks when I rotate the hand in circle but it doesn't hurt. My wrist hurt right after doing a set of heavy presses, but that's about the only time.
