With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.

There are two methods to gain strength that you wish to translate to met-cons in the future:

1) Starting Strength with no met-con

2) Hybrid-like program

1 will definitely build the strength...

I'm at a 335 lb squat and 395 lb deadlift. No long limbs for me with my 5'9" frame. I would be very surprised if a person was to work just one of the two for a while and not see the other go up as...
