Why does the burden of proof lie with me? How about you find me something older than ~4 years that describes Rip's squat style to a T....

I would have to politely disagree. Who ever heard of a "starting strength squat" before Rip wrote the book. There was no such thing as "starting strength". So how could there be a "starting strength"...

Squats are a FULL BODY workout no matter how you do them. Some variations may just work your hams, glutes and low back a little harder.

Alexandar's pic is of a pretty famous Olympic lifter. I don't know his name but I have seen plenty of video of the man. That being said, he is training for O'Lifting and therefore using High bar...
