I also have the Rouge 10# bumpers. They're sturdy and have held up well so far for me.

Re: Passing out Candy?

Huh, I seem to remember hearing adults gripe about how "great things were back in the day and how kids today are rotten etc...." back when I was a kid, and I'd bet the same things will be said 50...

Re: I'm not very good at cleaning weight.

Re: Incorporating Olympic lifting along with WOD

FWIW, I've been doing the p-menu stuff for my warmup's recently (just the Olympic lifting part of their WOD's). My O'lifts have improved since doing so. I used to do the CFWU x3 but now just do it...

Re: Mehdi's opinion of Crossfit at Stronglifts.com

I realize his critique is from a strength standpoint, and I don't have a problem with that. It's obvious you can tailor a fitness program to whatever needs you like. I just don't agree with his...

Re: Mehdi's opinion of Crossfit at Stronglifts.com

My specific disagreements are with his following statements:

Crossfit has a "Lack of programming", "too much endurance", "don't expect to increase your deadlift 2x your body weight", "hard for...

I did the run first rested for about 5 minutes then did the Deadlift/Burpee WOD, rested for about 10 minutes and then on to Fran. My Fran time ended up being 1:20 slower than the last time I did it.

Re: how do i know it's working

Re: Bumper Question

I have a set of 25#'s and 45#'s which have served me well so far. I mix in iron (no more metal than rubber) and those bumpers and have been able to cover me so far FWIW.
