I truly don't mean to be inflammatory here, but... maybe you just suck at swimming? When I first starting working out a year ago, I couldn't run for more than a minute or two without becoming winded...

How often does CFT come up as a WOD? Clearly I will be working on these movements as strength training outside of the metcon WODs, but how often do you 1RM?
