Those are wall balls. A soccer ball and a basketball filled with sand and wrapped with duct tape. 15lbs and 25lbs. Only in my gym it would be more appropriately called ceiling ball since the walls...

I scrubed mine with a strong industrial degreaser and a stiff bristled brush. The ones I bought not only smelled but seem to be covered by an oilly substance. The smell was gone in a few days.
