Re: Box Jumps?

JF's was a box jump over, but you could land temporarily on the top of the box. This brought rebounding into play. This year, it sounds like they have to clear the box with their jump so there...

It is interesting that we did not see any box jumps in the Open or Regionals this year. There are burpee box jump overs at Regionals (where you have to clear the box completely with your jump), but...

Re: Ankle Dorsiflexion Critique

I think your ankles are the reason you cannot do a pistol without the help of the raised heel. search MWOD and/or WODDoc for techniques to improve ankle ROM.

Re: Need some guidance please...

Nate, there is a Crossfit gym in Easton; I know it is ~45 minutes away, but I think there is also one on Kent Island. PM me if you want more info.

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

If you fail the lift, you did not move the weight within the full range of motion, so it's a no rep. Doesn't matter how quickly you do it.

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

If anything, I would say Froning is weak at sprints/ short time duration events. He didn't seem to move fast in the sprint clean ladder. He was just ok in the sprint carry, and not great at the sled...

Re: Equipment News--- Eleiko bars, Again Faster Regionals, pendlay sale

What is the difference between the Ohio Bar 1.2 and the Rich Fro bar? Just the end cap? It seems that's the only difference unless I am missing something.

Re: Work up to 1RM

This may be fodder for a new thread, but I follow a strength program that calls for doing a percentage of 1RM. Does that mean I should find my 1RM for that day, then do the prescribed sets and reps...
