Re: Mainsite "True" Sprints
This oft-quoted study never happened and no one can actually find proof of this statement. It would be great if people would stop quoting it. Do you really think someone that doesn't train for...

Re: Something Good About Mickey-Dee's
Can someone really tell me what "never frozen" beef matters? I buy beef, lamb, chicken, etc in bulk (1/4 cow, 1/2 lamb, 4-5 whole chickens at once)...there's never anything wrong with it when...

Re: Nutrition for a sprinter
Carbs, but it doesn't need to be 65%. I do just fine on 25% carbs, mostly sweet potatoes, fruit, and squashes. ~15% protein and 60% fat. Largely going to depend on your training and competition...

Re: The Best Burger In The World
Hodad's does have killer burgers. $9 and worth every bite. Add an amazing chocolate malt on the side, then go back to your hotel and have a nap. But it's worth every bite and sip.

Re: Intermittent Fasting...
Would it be wrong to ask someone that's a tad overweight "so what's your excuse then?" when they tell you that fasting will slow your metabolism down?

Re: What to serve a vegan?
Carl Lewis was a meat eater and elite athlete up to that point and was also likely using steroids (http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/04/17/1050172709693.html). WFS That argument really holds no...

Re: walnuts and omega 3
It's also ALA rather than EPA or DHA, so you're only going to actually get about 5-10% of the omega-3 content of the walnuts converted to the human-usable form.

Other than that,...

Re: Double Yolked Eggs
Co-op was out of eggs this week, so I bought from a farmer at the market. He was pretty sure I'd have some double yolkers based on the size of the eggs. I haven't cracked them yet to find out for...
