Re: Two police officers shot in Granbury, TX

So Sorry to hear. Try contacting CrossFit Seven (www.crossfitseven.com) in Fort Worth. Ryan Shupe would be the guy to talk to. Also, CrossFit EST (contact Chris Lofland and Ken Cutrer) and...

Re: Interesting article about Paleo

It has been observed that diets are much like religion. And there are some very strong personalities on the forum. I found it pretty off-putting at first too. Try not to take it personally and keep...

Re: Weight loss: does food give some people an “eaters high?”

Different genes different receptors. I have never heard of anyone finding celery bitter before. I wonder what the variant is there. Anyone know anything about celery?

Re: News for CrossFit Women on Hormones and Depression

Thanks. I'm actually a pretty quiet and soft spoken person. Tell the Russian guy he could use a little estrogen.

Re: News for CrossFit Women on Hormones and Depression

I was surprised to see it so common at our box too. Stunned actually. That's why I was wondering if acceptance of HRT is a Texas (or Dallas) thing. People are much more into cosmetic surgery and...

Re: News for CrossFit Women on Hormones and Depression

Re: Weight loss: does food give some people an “eaters high?”

Re: Will CrossFit style exercise reduce risk of breast cancer?

Sorry, I'm not on here that often. I usually just post when I find something interesting. I'm not a cancer survivor myself, just a researcher. My own work is in reproductive toxicology and...

Re: Will CrossFit style exercise reduce risk of breast cancer?

Looks like exercise changes the way estrogen is metabolized. Exercise seems to change the proportions of metabolites away from those that promote breast cancer.

Re: Anhidrosis

That sounds really scary. (Nice hair by the way). But she should definitely talk with her doctor about the cause and severity of the problem. She's at high risk of heat stroke.

Saturated Fat Speeds Cell Aging?

There may be a lot of good things about medium chain saturated fatty acids, but there may be some down sides too. Thought this was pretty interesting.
