Re: Groupon Information

We've got both Groupon & LS before and marketed the CRAP out of it on Facebook & our website. We got about 4 sales and made enough to buy some coffee for ourselves.

We're in the midst of trying...

Re: Client Can't Touch Shoulders

Oh yes! That's a staple for our warm ups. OH Band stretching!

One thing I read last night in Kstars book might help out. I know I'll botch it if I try but he says to do this:

stand with...

Re: Flooring for a gym

What would a good secondary option be for areas that weights won't be being dropped on. I want to get 3/4" mats for the area under/around the rig (plus some extra) and was trying to think of a good...

Re: Client Can't Touch Shoulders

Oh you know it. I'm on there all the time. I read his book too. This client has done all that I can throw at them.

Still nothing.

Anyone else out there?

For the past few months, I've been working with one of our clients that is unable to touch their shoulders.

This is a problem for anything that involved the 'front rack' position (front squats,...

Re: Constantly Complaining Member

That sounds about right from what I've sorta decided to do. They pay me to coach them, so if the WOD can't be scaled for them I have put together a handful of 'Baby WODs' for them to do while the...

Constantly Complaining Member

So I have a member who is making great progress; but does a good bit of complaining about how things hurt.

Now, to be fair; it's their first real experience with "working out". So I have scaled...

Re: Hybrid Program Heavy Metcons

This weekend I found a deadly couplet: :smiley_ev

5RFT:
Back Squat @ 70%
Run

Start with a low # of reps and a longer distance.

Those days looked like this:

Mobility/Warm Up
Heavy or Speed Lift (Powerlifting or Oly basically)...
