Re: Rheumatoid arthritis

I have three athletes with quite advanced arthritis in lower back and/or knees and all are incredibly active. We simply modify and get creative with their workouts.

They all still walk out...

Re: things to know when opening up an affiliate

I can't answer your tax related questions... sorry...

If you choose to go outside of the confines of a traditional CF insurance policy, just really read through it and adjust for your area. For...

Re: Heating and Air

We do heat in the winter (it gets pretty cold here in Idaho and I work in the gym for most of the day now). I keep the thermostat at about 52-54 when I here and down to about 49-50 when I am not. I...

Re: Affiliate naming rules inconsistent?

Re: Box owners - are you advertising online?

Yeah, it's not that you won't bring something of value to the table, and I think your customer acquisition rate wouldn't be high for traditional businesses, but CF gyms operate on such a high...

Re: Box owners - are you advertising online?

I have done both in the newsfeed and in the right hand rail. We get a much higher click-through rate from the newsfeed ads, though. Calls to action have varied based on what promotion we happen to be...

Re: Box owners - are you advertising online?

I have played around a little with demographics, but tend to focus on people who list interests like outdoor activities, sports, fitness, and travel. I avoid advertising to the 18-23 age range as...

Re: Box owners - are you advertising online?

We have done Facebook advertising with great success. Probably ten of our new members in the last month have come from Facebook ads exposure. I plan to run a new campaign every month. I stopped the...

Re: fixing my squat from square one, knees in front of toes problem

You can also do banded squats. This has really helped folks in my gym who have this issue. Wrap a band around a vertical length of your pull-up rig at about hip level (just like you wrap it for a...

Re: CF and relationships

So I would just express to him that CF makes you happy and ask him to support it. Let him know you will dial back the dialogue on nutrition as long as he doesn't dog you about doing things for...

Re: CF and relationships

This would be a no-go for me. My boyfriend and I met because of CrossFit and he's now a trainer at my gym. But if he weren't, I would never give it up due to him being unreceptive.

I CAN...

Re: New blog for CrossFit Affiliate owners and coaches

We added the component of giving names and asking a question at the beginning during the warmup and it's been great! Thanks for the wonderful tips and information!

Re: Rigs, flooring, nuts and bolts

Ours just butt up against the pull up rig. We don't cover the bolting. We just have the mats placed in such a way that they line up to not be able to push through the rig bottoms. You can kind of see...

Re: Box Zip Sweat Shirts

Re: Is it alright??

Re: Best CrossFit Affiliate Logos

Well considering it's the font that CrossFit uses, I chose it for the time being since it's easily recognizable in that forum. But that is why I put the caveat that I will be changing it with time....

Re: Best CrossFit Affiliate Logos
