Re: Spartan Race.

I race in many Spartan Races and use the same shoes over and over. I run in Inov-8's. They are the way to go if you want to be competitive. But almost any Cross Country race show with a waffle...

Re: 13.2 AMRAP tips and strategy.

I did not know step up were allowed. I guess when it is said to do 'box jumps' I am going to jump up. I did step down just to keep a good steady pace but step up would have been easier then jumping...

Re: Open WOD Video question

Open WOD Video question

SO, I do not have anyone to help me on the WOD's so here are my questions:

Do we need to have a counting clock visible or can we use...

Re: Congrats to Graham Holmberg CF Games Winner

Yes, you are correct. Winning 5 events and 2nd in 3 is HUGE..... I just started a thread for the men. Maybe you should do one for the women ;)

100 Pushups Program

So, I started doing the program for 100 pushups and my 10 year old daughter started too. She is now on week 3 and just maxed out at 47 quality pushups without stopping. I was very impressed. My...

Re: CrossFitters vs Decathletes

I used to be a decathlete in college (DII) and now CrossFit... I can tell you that I can run 1500M times in the 4:20's, polevault 15', high jump 6'3" and 400M in 48 sec.... When it comes to the...

Just tried this last night after softball and maxing out in pushups. Upper body was dead but still pulled out a 2:25. Will hit it hard again next week and run a little video at the same time. ...

Re: Endurance Fran

Thanks Dale. I do respect the input from the other members on all the CF sites and would never turn a discussion into anything else then that :p The reason I posted 5K and 10K is those are the...

Re: Endurance Fran

Yes, I know that. And that is why I never said the WOD was a CFE WOD but something I did to see how it went. We see guys on CF mix stuff up all the time and post the WODS just to see what others...

Re: Endurance Fran

And why would you say that? We have been doing things like this for years, just not on this level. Look at the CF games and the long Chippers. Not much different then what I did with Fran, is...

Re: Endurance Fran

Believe me the intensity was up there. Plus an 800, 400 and 200 would not be an endurance workout at all for me. The 2 X mile runs at 7% was the WOD on the CrossFit Endurance site and that was a...

Endurance Fran

So, I just started doing the CFE WOD's and thought today would be a great day to work them together. I used Fran and yesterdays CFE WOD and came up with an 'Endurance Fran'. let me know what you...

How far to travel for Sectionals?

Just looked at the site to see where sectionals are for my area. Looks like I would have to travel over 1100 miles if I want to compete. Man, thats a long drive for the first round. And Regionals...

Re: CF Total per # of Body Weight

One thing we have to remember here is that CrossFit is not just for powerlifters. I is 'Forging Elite Fitness'. I am not worried about just the powerlifters in the world as I bet they would not be...

Re: CF Total per # of Body Weight

What you posted makes no sense..... If Spealler is and I qoute "probably the most beastly smaller guy in Crossfit" and his ratio is 6# per 1# then why would I need to be at 7# per 1# to be...

Re: CFBF Colossal Challenge #1

Not sure where you can post a video that is that long. YouTube will allow videos up to about 10min so it would have to be split up in different clips. Anyone know if you can post somewhere else a...
