Re: pc video editing software advice

I know you didn't want to hear it, but for video editing- you really need a Mac. Final Cut runs really well on the latest and greatest but you can use an iMac or macbook and it would be running well....

Re: 24" vertical poles on a DIY pull up bar?

My bar is held together by 2x6.. BIG lag screws into the studs behind the wall and ceiling. Distributes the weight quite nicely.

I also agree on the 12" headroom. That's what I have and it's more...

Re: Training The Obese

I convinced my mother to do Paleo for 30 days because she wants to lose weight (she is obese as well), so I gave her a little lecture on it, the background on why we should eat this way, etc. After...

Re: Tires

Just go to Lowe's and get a bucket, sponge, brush, and tire cleaner. Wet em down and scrub away. Let them dry in the sun and you'll be all set.

Re: anyone home at kettlebell king?

No, I'm back in Lakeland, FL.

I thought it was pretty funny that he used the Flat rate USPS boxes for the 35 and 55 KB's. When the mailman pulled them out, he goes "I guess you ordered spare...

Re: anyone home at kettlebell king?

Ordered on the 26th and received my 35 and 55lb KB's today from USPS on the 30th. The 70 is inbound tomorrow via UPS.

Very quick turnaround! Very happy.

Re: anyone home at kettlebell king?

I just ordered the 3 KB set from them and received shipment confirmation/tracking numbers about an hour later. Haven't heard from them from email, but if I'm getting tracking numbers already, I'd say...

Re: Comments or Suggestions on my Garage Gym Equipment List

Definitely gonna go to Craigslist for rower, dumb bells possibly, and whatever else. I think Garage Gym's bumpers are pretty decent and a better price. I do like Rogue however, and I know they have...

Re: Comments or Suggestions on my Garage Gym Equipment List

It'll probably be just me and the wife. Don't think I would be training people out of the garage (but might down the road). I think you are right about the Dumb bells. I think I might just get some...

Re: "Born to Run" Unintentionally Praises Crossfit

I just finished the book last week. It's not a CrossFit book. It's a book making the case against big heeled running shoes in favor of little to no shoes/barefoot running. McDougal makes a very...

Re: Mre Help

I'm in the same predicament brother. The tuna is the best. I just eat that, skip the mayo and all the rest.

When it comes to MREs, I try to stay within Zone proportions, because paleo is...
