Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

Re: 2015 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

Re: Have we all seen this yet?

I would tend to think it accelerated the process but it was likely in the plans already.

Its noteworthy and commendable that they pay the Masters at all, much less the amounts they do, I don't...

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

Actually no one "sprinted" even on the first 100 and the athletes that finished the first 100 first finished the entire event last.

I don't have any examples to cite, twas just my subjective...

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

I'd like to see the Games champions announced the same way as the British Open (golf) champion is

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

I had the privilege of doing a WOD at Greg Amundson's box that included toes to bar. He required us to hook grip the bar for safety.

He also advised us to use a alternating grip for the same...

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

I think your theory is correct based on hard the athletes had to work to push such a small sled.

I talked with one of the employees at the Rogue tent, he was also surprised, said the sled weighs...

Re: 2014 CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Games Thread

I was thinking the same thing, demoralizing to the competition.

It became crystal clear to me in the Track Triplet when he let Matt Chan have the lead until he was ready to take it that he is like...

Re: Wildcards?

Yes, the PGA Tour has many exemptions to allow players to play in tournaments
without having to requalify.

Re: Your Favourite Events in Games history to date ?

My vote goes to the 2009 chipper.

I kept moving back and forth to stay in front of Mikko Salo, he passed up Tommy Hack for good during the burpees.

I expect we will see
this one again...

Back squats - Taco Tuesday

Fortunately not but I just about got tacoed on the 5th rep of a PR set.

I had plenty of leg / hip strength available so I guess I found my weak link.

I recently started using a belt after a few...

Re: How long afterward do you feel sore?

Same as Mark, I get very little if any soreness from squats + press + deadlifts + pull ups in the same workout. (3 sets of 5 for squat and press, 3 sets of 3 for deadlift, to failure for...

Re: Is Soreness and Indication of Progression?
