Re: Zoot CompressRx Clothing
Did you purchase the compression recovery product line or the compression performance?
If you purchased the recovery line then this may May explain the ripping. The recovery line only has about 30%...

Re: Help minimizing hand tears
While I think Bill's approach is great (I've implemented it and it works), if you end up doing more Oly-ing, as I do, then you will want to chalk up.
Coach Rut gave me the perfect and, most...

Re: Fractional Plates worth the money?
The more I do the Olympic Lifts, the more I rely on the mental and will to overcome the weights. I have to say I agree. Yet I would still like to have the fractional plates since I don't always have...

Re: Rogue R-3 West Side Rack v.s. R-4 Power Rack?
Well, I guess I am leaning toward the racks. I'm trying to go heavy on my lifts and need to graduate to something a bit safer for the epic fails. Plus I'd love to be able to use chains and band. This...

Re: Rogue R-3 West Side Rack v.s. R-4 Power Rack?
Right on.
John, do you own the R4? HOw does depth factor in?
I'm a big guy I guess 6'3" 230ish but I can't imagine the R3 getting cramped.
But there may be something I'm missing. I would hate to...

Re: Rogue R-3 West Side Rack v.s. R-4 Power Rack?
Donald, I'm considering the same except I'm including the S-2/S-3 in the running.
I do sort of a strength bias so I am interested in lifting variations, especially rack pulls and inertia presses....

Re: Rogue (and any Oly Bar) Sleeve Care
Apologies. i haven't logged on in a while.
But Bill replied so that is much better in terms of getting back in working order.
There are many factors that can affect a bar. Storage position, heat,...

Re: Weight Belts
Thanks all and Sean.
I keep reading and it all seems a bit complicated. I think I may start off with the Valeo classic and get a feel for what I may need.

Re: help me choose barbells!
Please delete.
After I saw that someone responded and that my response was superfluous, I said so here. But then I just cut it and placed it as a preface to my original response.

Funny, I just built a digital editing station/media computer for my three boys. I needed to control all the media plus my eldest is starting to make and edit movies.

Re: help me choose barbells!
Rogue Bar.
They stand behind the product. I'm sure AFT also does but Rogue has been churning it out for a while now.
This is the sweet spot of price for performance. If you wanted more Oly specific...

Re: Weight Belts
Thanks all.
I am usually in a hurry, so I think I'll go with the Inzer Lever.
Sean, do you mind me asking what is your pant waist size?
Perhaps I can get a good idea of the kind of variance I...

Re: Possible Standing Press Injury
Thanks Steven.
I have a foam roller but have been too busy to get on the floor with it.
Today I'll hit it. If not then I'll follow the advice and see if a massage therapist can get the kink out.

Possible Standing Press Injury
I was doing max attempts on standing press. My last two sets I really went heavy (for me).
The tendency is to lean back and I gave in to this temptation. I didn't indulge a full lean back but I...

Weight Belts
Hey guys,
Looking at weight belts.
I'm leaning toward the lever belt in this link Lever Belt. (http://www.inzernet.com/detail_belt.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FOREVERBELT_LEVER13) (WFS)
I'm a big boy. Trying...

Re: Bday Gift: More Equipment
What was that? You guys clamor for pictures?
I'll oblige!
Not a complaint: Sits a lot smaller on my upper body than I anticipated, but fits great.
I'm on the larger side (~ 6'3") and most of the...
