I started crossfitting July 21st, 2010.

Since then I've drastically improved my fitness.

However, my running has never really improved. Though we run quite a bit in my gym, I can never get any...

Re: Inconsistent Bowel Movements on Paleo

I'm sorry. I misspoke. Coach said I need to be getting .7-1g of protein per pound per day.

So right around 160-180grams of essential protein per day. NOT including non-essential such as protein...

Brother has a hernia *Topic not advised for children

My brother got a hernia several years ago seemingly uncaused, meaning, it wasn't an accident or a heavy lifting incident that caused it.

Apparently he has a hole between his gut and his scrotum...

Re: 6 months Crossfit, My Fran PR.

I agree. My crossfit buddies that got me into crossfit and who attend a different box laugh at me because of the cost I'm willing to pay at Rutherfords box, they just don't realize the level of...

Re: Post workout cough

I saw a Doctor about it. I also say a homeopathic kinsthesiaologist about it. The doctor tried to prescribe me an GERD OTC like previcid and the HK put me on a cocktail of natural supplements....

Re: Post workout cough

No on the chalk, it's a pretty clean box all around as well. I use a little on pull up bars but that's about it, just to prevent slipping and tears.

I would say that I always hydrate very well. At...

Re: Post workout cough

Uh oh, now I've NEVER noticed blood or mucus, but I HAVE noticed a copper taste in my mouth, but my teeth sometimes hurt a little so I assumed it was my clinching during heavy metcons.

Re: 3 month crossfit/paleo review w/BF% and Lean Mass%

If I can lose the love handles alone I think I would be happy. I don't necessarily require a 6-pack but that is my goal for a least one point in time in my life. This "spare tire" belly fat is...

Re: Blood work just came back

I suppose red meat could be part of the problem. It's hard to find grass-fed meat in my area.
I feel like I'm a pretty happy guy. I crossfit, have a good social life and I enjoy my work.
I cut back...

Re: Blood work just came back

4 months ago I went from drinking 4+ days a week to only once a week now.

I get a solid 8hrs of sleep every night. I practice good sleep hygiene and I feel like I'm well rested most of the time.
