Re: 135 lb. Overhead Squat Box Jump

Combining two exercises that have a specific application isn't "pushing the envelope" or "becoming more...

Re: "Juice" Cleanse

My point was your body is more than capable of "cleansing" itself without any external influence. I'd only start worrying about something like that if you suddenly become unable to pee, poop or...

Re: WOD that burn most/a lot callories

Re: Power snatch

If your form is obviously breaking down and you're trying to improve your mechanics, what sense does it make to rush through it and not properly set before each lift? I fully understand why people do...

Re: Power snatch

Well, your first problem is that touch-and-go nonsense. Because of that, every one of those lifts looked completely different. Take your time and develop consistency. Getting better at lifting isn't...

Re: 135 lb. Overhead Squat Box Jump

Oh, let me rephrase then.

Jeremy, you are truly an inspiration to the mass of peons who can only wish to ascend to elite status by performing an obviously complex movement such as this. To even...

Re: 135 lb. Overhead Squat Box Jump

God, you're a f'king idiot. Keep doing things like this so you eventually destroy your own ability to reproduce.

Re: Rhabdo

The source of rhabdo stems from allowing anyone with a valid credit card and NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE in health/fitness/health sciences/etc to open their own gym and start training people under the...

Re: Open in 6 months, want to make regionals

Those are great numbers and all, but how many pistol-burpee-broadjump-overheadsquat-wallball-muscleups can you do in 10 minutes while on a train traveling 60mph during a 4.7 earthquake?

Re: WOD that burn most/a lot callories

Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym.

Re: A little direction

You can't close multiple gaps simultaneously. Individualized skills require individualized focus and dedication (ESPECIALLY strength). Trying to do everything at once is a lot like masturbation...it...

Re: "Juice" Cleanse

Do you have functioning kidneys, liver and intestines? If so, why would you need to "cleanse" anything when those organs do it for you?

Re: HELP! How to get bigger as ectomorph!!!

Jesus, you barely eat anything. No wonder you're 160 lbs. Try this simple two step approach:

Step 1) Eat more
Step 2) Repeat

Stop relying on protein shakes. EAT FOOD and eat a lot of it. How...

Re: C&J critique

Speed looks fine. Dip and drive looks fine. No need for jerk drives or any of that...

Re: Yet another snatch critique

It's not that everything was horrible. It's that you never learned the proper positions and patterns behind the lift, so as soon as you start moving the bar, your body is subconsciously "filling in...

Re: Yet another snatch critique

You need to re-learn how to perform this lift from scratch. Start over, take it slow and learn correctly. The more you try to do this with weight on the bar, the more you're reinforcing terrible...

Re: Super Slo Mo of K. Farris Snatch

I always thought it was crazy that he yanks so hard off the ground but still manages to maintain his back angle. He's the only pro lifter I've ever seen who yanks like that.
