There was an x-ray the evening of the accident-- no bone injuries reported. I can't afford any more medical care-- which is why I'm asking about a private treatment regimen-- thanks for the advice...

All care was received in the ER. I was never given any instructions by the doctor about any kind of recoup exercise at all-- just cold, elevate, no weight for a few days. ...

This is a concern I have as well-- I am 6', with long legs-- is it safer to ramp up using dumb bells until the legs get strengthened up enough to handle a barbell move better?
