Lack of energy during afternoon workouts

Hi all, I'm a 24 year old male that's been crossfitting for over 3 years on and off now. I'm currently not working so I'm able to train as often as I like and this often involves doing two met cons a...

Re: 531 and gymnastics skill development

Yeah I've noticed that you reply to a lot of the threads I read on here too. You're quite well known and it's good that you're giving back in the way that you do.

I've always struggled with the...

Re: 531 and gymnastics skill development

Re: Globo gym competition prep training

Also doesn't the fact that my proficiency at the more technical lifts is better than the slow lifts make me a better crossfitter? I mean my technique is pretty good considering I'm completely self...

Re: Globo gym competition prep training

I don't know dude. I think our definitions differ. I am intermediate for a crossfitter I never said I was an advanced powerlifter. Strength isn't everything and I'm also quite good in the other areas...

Re: Globo gym competition prep

Well as it happens today I did a little metcon I concocted and one of the members of staff starting talking to me about crossfit and he said I can do whatever I want but to just not drop the...

Re: Globo gym competition prep training

Thanks for all the replies. I've worked out what I can and can't do now that I've been training there for a little while now. I still think using a barbell in a met con is off limits but that still...

Re: Globo gym competition prep

Thanks for all of your replies. I'm just going to do a very basic strength program mixing in different sets and reps to keep everything varied and to make sure I'm not just gaining maximal strength....

Re: Globo gym competition prep training

Well there aren't any bumper plates, there's only one olympic barbell, barely enough space to even do my foam rolling and it's always busy.

Re: Globo gym competition prep

Yes it is frustrating. As if the equipment shortage wasn't enough you then have the attrocious etiquette to deal with.

There is a sort of functional training area we have where the PTs play around...

Globo gym competition prep training

Greetings all. My current situation has forced me to move house, away from my box where I was training 5-6 days per week. I am now nowhere near a box but there is a globo gym only a short walk away...

Gymnastics bias

Hello,

I am looking to begin a gymnastics biased approach to my programming since I am truly terrible at almost all of the movements. I am relatively new to Crossfit, but not new by any means to...
