Re: Running in Nanos

Yeah, but you probably had some great compression socks to help you out :)

Re: 1 rm increases

If this is right (and I am not saying it isn't because I have never tried 5/3/1), I need to get started yesterday. I am right at those numbers (just below on DL) and have never seen this much gain...

Re: Best way to work toward pistols

Thanks everyone. I guess I am on the right track. Just getting frustrated by the slow progress.

Re: Rogue Stinks

I've also had generally good dealings with Rogue, but I also left an average review for a belt that somehow never made it to their site. The item still only has 5 star ratings. It did make me...

Best way to work toward pistols

I would really like to get pistols down. Right now my issue is that I fall backwards at the bottom. If I hold on to something they are not a problem. I can do them if I elevate my heel with a...

Re: AtLarge Nutrition

I received my shipment of the new Results. The serving size says one scoop. The scoop is much larger than before and is graduated. Does it still mean one full scoop?

Does anyone have any experience with the liftinglarge crusher knee sleeves? If so, I would appreciate your thoughts.

Re: AtLarge Nutrition

Chris, I am primarily interested in help with recovery, strength (indifferent if this comes with size increase or not), and fat loss. I generally eat a meal (with protein) within 30 minutes after my...

Re: My day with Rick Scarpulla of Ultimate Advantage (Westside 4 Athletes)

What do your runs look like? Are you doing this in addition to Metcons?

Re: My day with Rick Scarpulla of Ultimate Advantage (Westside 4 Athletes)

Not a bad couple of weeks. I hit a 5# PR on my OH press, a 10# PR on my squat, a 15# PR on my DL, and a 15# PR on my 3RM bench.

Re: Ankle ROM won't improve?

I am trying to improve this also in order to be able to get pistols. I can do them if I put my heal on a 15# bumper, but fall backward trying to do them on flat ground. Am I right to be targeting...

Re: Tips on Dumping Weight

I've wondered this on (low bar) back squats (with bumpers and no cage). If you are vertical enough stepping forward and letting the weight fall backwards seems easy enough, but if you get bent a...

Re: Working towards a strict muscle up...

I think I understand what you are saying on the hips. On the pull, do you mean I should be able to get the bar to my belly button while vertical or horizontal. On my CTB pullup I can get the bar to...

Re: Working towards a strict muscle up...

I dont want the hijack the thread, but does the head butt cue apply to kipping bar MU also? I can do ring MU kipping and strict (though only 1 or 2 strict at a time), but can't get the bar MU. I...

Re: Compression Gear

I wanted to say that Greg is very customer focused. I ordered a pair of shorts based on the size suggestion chart. Apparently I am not distributed normally because because they were not very...

Re: Help me pick a bar

Thanks for your feedback and comparison of the CAP versus the other bars.

My comment about "that not being true" wasn't meant for you even though it showed up after your post. It was meant for...

Re: Help me pick a bar

That isn't true at all. I have said that my the only bar I have experience with is the CAP OB-86PB, which I see no problems with and have asked for what other bars at this price point are better and...

Re: Help me pick a bar

I guess it is because I don't see the risk of a bent bar being that high. As I mentioned we have several of the OB-86PB at the box I go to. They are used for everything and none of them have bent...

Re: Help me pick a bar

I appreciate everyone's input. I am not willing to spend the extra for the Rogue bar at this time. I may regret it later. I can get the Cap OB-86B for abou $155 delivered or the OB-86PB for $175...

Re: Help me pick a bar

From everything I have read I know the Rogue bar is a good bar with a great warranty, but I think the risk of bending isn't that high for what it will be used for as the weights will be fairly low...

Re: Help me pick a bar

The bomba bar is out of stock and they are unsure when they will receive more (up to 3 weeks). Is it enough better to be worth waiting on? Does anyone have another favorite?

Re: Help me pick a bar

I saw that thread, but don't find a men's bomba bar on their site. Am I just missing it?
