Re: Video of Crossfit Diets done at the Crossfit Games

:yeahthat:

Actually EXACTLY what I was thinking. If you're training for life, then yeah, CF is great, because it's the best all around fitness program. But it puts you average at everything,...

Re: I can't stop eating!

Advice: LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!

I was noticing an increase in hunger after I started hitting the weights really hard the past few weeks (snatching 60 kg and cleaning 70+ on a regular basis = HARD)....

Re: intermittant fasting

I'm never hungry in the mornings; when I force myself to eat breakfast (which I HAVE to do in order to get enough food in for lifting) I tend to be hungrier at lunch than when I DON'T eat breakfast....

Re: Weekend Eating Troubles

lol wtf is a tasty cake?

Yah people (especially my family) think I'm crazy for the amount of food I eat. I mean, it's good food, just LOTS of it. Like my mom made a huge plate of roasted...

Re: intermittant fasting

Depends on what your goals are.

Fasting is great for CF workouts; when I did CF, and I did it in the AM, I much preferred a fasted state than a full stomach.

If you're into heavy lifting, you...

Re: Leaning Out

lol thanks Melissa. You know, the majority of the CFers I know (ie NORMAL people), are relatively lean, but nothing amazing. I think there are a select few (mostly men, but few women) who can get...

Re: Leaning Out

You might also want to re-evaluate the type of exercise you're doing, as that can play a factor in how lean you are as well. Right now, I'm the leanest that I've ever been just from doing...

Re: Coffee

Ahhh the joys of college. College has definitely turned me on to coffee.

I normally get either a cappaccino, latter (whole milk, of course), or an americano. I think the americanos from starbucks...

Re: Nutrition for Strength Bias or CrossFit Football

Dude. Just eat protein. For your size you probably need a lot. Eat a lot of it. Eat lots of veggies. Eat lots of fat. Don't over think it.

Re: Nutrition for Strength Bias or CrossFit Football

I ditched the zone after I started olympic lifting full time. Since football is similar in that it's primarily strength based, I'd recommend not zoning. You won't find ANY heavy duty lifter who...

Re: Mark Sisson's 30-Day Primal Challenge.

No that's great, I was just curious because I saw your intake was relatively higher compared to other people on here (still think the majority of the people on here don't eat enough) and I was...

Re: How much of a calorie imbalance?

What IS it with people literally starving themselves??? 1800 cal a day? I eat more than that and I'm a 5' 2" 120 lb female.

I don't like the zone or these other named diets for that reason. Just...

Re: Dietary Confessions of a CrossFitter

It's good to get some clean food in your system. If you're really not hungry, don't eat, but don't force yourself not to eat or anything. The clean food will help to balance out the junk food, in a...
