Re: Dan John's Big 21

Having never done the program I couldn't say, but it would certainly seem that doing heavy singles in DL 3x a week for 3 weeks would be asking for trouble. I'm guessing that part of what makes the...

Re: Power Clean vs Clean- Difference?

Another way I've heard it explained:

Re: Gym Jones - What's your beef?

It would seem that he has decided that specialization is what he wants to and I think most folks would agree that if that's the case then CF is probably not the best route to accomplish extreme...

Re: Whistle blowing!

That sounds reasonable enough, though that's not what the site in question is doing. They're offering a class of "Crossfit Basics".

Re: Can't Keep Lower Back Straight on DLs

Re: Adjustable dumbells??

There was a thread regarding these types of DBs a few months back and a recap of it was basically what's being said now: nice idea, but a bit fragile for dumbbells.

Re: C2 Model C vs. Model D

In my (limited) experience, a new Model D is not $500 better than a used Model C considering what you can buy with the difference. You could always get the C and retro fit one of the new handles and...

Re: What percentage of 1RM is 20 and 25 reps?
