Re: Adding Mobility WOD etc buttons to my new site??

Mobility WOD banners are publicly available here; http://www.mobilitywod.com/about/banners/ (safe for work and home)

For other sites it pays to ask.

Re: Bryan Kelly / Anthos Hire Wall-street PR Firm

15 years is longer than any affiliate has been a part of CrossFit to date. Approximately twice as long.

I'm sure that if things don't change there will be affiliates who clock up far more than 15...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

That's unfortunate, as that action undermines CF HQ's position as providing a sane, balanced view of proceedings and makes this look more like rabble rousing. And it looks like HQ are scared to let...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

Depending on your views I guess worst case is that:

As a result of internal power struggles, CrossFit doesn't exist within a few years.
Or
CrossFit's business model changes and affiliates are told...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

I wish I'd heard it before, it's a great rebuttal to an argument I get into too often.

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

This has been covered numerous times in this thread already.

How does Coach control HQ?
By virtue of his 50% ownership of CrosFit Inc.

Anthos would have as much control over the company as they...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

Unless the position has changed, it's been stated several times that an offer better than Anthos' was made and has been rejected.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy (added because I need to have at least 6 characters in this message and the smiley is only 2).

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

I believe that legally that person jointly owns 100% of CrossFit Inc. Apparently it isn't a 50% share.

If someone else buys that ownership they can then begin the process of replacing the management...

Re: Stop Anthos from Taking over CrossFit

My concern is that despite Lauren's intentions, the people buying her share aren't doing it because they want to be a part of CrossFit, they want to make money from the deal.

There's no altruism...

Re: 2012 Open, Regional and Games thread

Power cleans are valid for Elizabeth.
That was how it was originally set up, it's only more recently that people have gotten the idea that it's "supposed" to be squat cleans.

Nice to see it...

Re: Question about sequence

I sympathise, it was the aspect of the BX forum that I struggled with for a start too. In fact I gave up on it for a few months as I started CF for exactly that reason.

What you're after is...

I maintained a playlist for the first 200 videos. That's the maximum a YouTube playlist will hold.

Re: Difference Between Concept II Rower Models

Same here usually, but I got lucky and got one for NZ$300. It cost me another $200 to get it shipped from down-country, but still much cheaper than anything else I'd seen. The good deals do come up,...

Re: Difference Between Concept II Rower Models

I was sure I covered this in another thread on the same topic, but I can't find it now.

The feature comparison on the C2 site is the best guide as to the differences between models.

However as far...

Re: Infant Swimming Resource ?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought ISR was aimed at drown-proofing kids under 5? I've only looked superficially at this one but other programs I've seen that seem to be aimed at a similar...

Re: Freestanding solution for hanging rings, pullups etc

I don't believe you, prove it. :)
