I work 4-12's one week, then 3-12's the next. Sometimes I can get my workout in the last hour of my shift, sometimes I can not. I train hard on my "days off work", and not so hard on my "work" days...

Do yourself a huge favor. Place your bathroom scale in the garbage! It is absolutely useless in helping you determine your level of fitness, and or tracking your progress towards becoming fitter.
