What Frank says is true. There is a direct link between T and apnea.
Apnea lowers T but extra T increases apnea.

Don't give up!

Just remember that SSRI's are REM sleep suppressors. You probably wouldn't be able to tell a difference but just thought you should be aware.

Delta sleep is not "the most important". You need all of the 4 stages (stage 1, 2, 3 (or slow wave), and REM) of sleep in the right amounts.

Sleep varies a lot but in general a healthy adult needs 7-9 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. and that is consolidated, no 4 hours at one time and 4 hours later.
