Re: 2017 CrossFit Open, Regionals and Games Thread

I could see this. The Granite Games had them for intermediate athletes in the teams of 3, so did Wodapolooza. Also I sense that 17.1 and 17.2 will be done week 1. Two wods the first week.

So, I was thinking about something with the CrossFit Mayhem video for subscribers to the Journal... That CrossFit HQ could use the journal as a way to provide exclusive live content during the Games...

Re: Home gym suggestions

1. I assume you do not live in Green Bay itself as there are six boxes here. If you are close, I suggest dropping in to one if possible.
2. I would get a barbell and bumper plates. Then you don't...

Re: Rogue Ohio Bar with Spacers?

I know that the older Ohio 1.2's are built slightly differently in the sleeves than the more modern ones (2015-2016). This is exhibited in the newer bars spinning much faster than the older ones...

Re: New Gym equipment for the garage gym

Strongman yoke. If you get the one from Rogue, it can also serve as another squat rack.

Re: New Garage Gym

I would get a few more bumpers. 400-500lbs just to be safe. The echos are nice, but if you can get the colored ones I would do that. As you have two bars, I would try to have matching sets of...

Re: Following a affiliate

I usually stay current with them, but I also go there 2-3x/week now so I am performing their wods elsewhere 2-3x week.

Re: Crossfit Open 2016

There are still quite a few actual affiliates operating out of a home garage. I suspect that HQ may choose one of those.

Re: Help! Can't do any compound lifts for 4-6 weeks!

1. In this case don't be afraid to go to a globo and use the machines to bypass the issue, as your goal is to maintain muscle while not aggravating the injury. Obviously any sort of pec deck, lat...

1. Rogue- Composite bushings seem to spin OK on the bar at my box; the same as my Ohio Bar. Just make sure you use some spray in lithium grease from time to time on it. If a composite bushing is of...

Re: Crossfit Open 2016

The thing is that CFHQ now assumes that most people will be doing the Open in an affiliate setting. Thus, HQ can start to include more complex movements such as bar MU, pistols, rope climbs, KB...
