Not any elite male

I'm sure she can take the average MMA gym goer but there is no way she can take anyone in the UFC.

Miesha Tate is tough as nails and I give her a ton of respect. That girl has proven over and over...

My video to be a reporter for the Crossfit Games

So Crossfit is looking for a reporter and I used to be one but have since moved on.

I know they can find better looking athletes to report so I had to do something different. Hope you like it and...

After 8 months a 20 pound PR for Clean and Jerk

So in February I could clean 185. I'm 5'9 was 212 at the time (a lot of fat). I got injured in my elbow (still don't know what it is) and went from 185 to 155. Lately, I've built it back up to 185...

Re: Pre-cooked Paleo Meals Expensive

I don't understand this question. I do eat them all, but they are only for five days a week.

As for the cheat...I no longer go crazy on cheat day but if I don't cheat I couldn't stick with what I'm...

Re: Pre-cooked Paleo Meals Expensive

Thanks. I think if I ever get to 175 I'll start cooking again bc I think it will be easier to maintain than lose, but until I get to my goal I'm going to order pre-cooked meals. I still cheat on...

Re: Has anyone lost a significant amount of weight?

That's good **** to everyone that lost weight. I'm trying really hard now and bought Paelo food from Eatology. They premake it and its expensive as heck but at least I'm finally losing weight.

Pre-cooked Paleo Meals Expensive

So my diet sucks and after more than a year at Crossfit, I'm still at 210. I prob only lost 10-20 pounds since I started last year (though I obviously have made significant strength gains and look...

Re: Question on water usage at crossfit facility

Where I go doesn't have a shower, and I think most people are fine with that.

Re: I'm another newbie (and hooked my family!)

Pamela, congrats on your new start. And I understand you probably cant just eat paleo and perfect right now. I cant either. But if you can lose the Subway. Its not healthy and bread is an enemy for...

Hit a few PR's

I was at 175 for cleans but I actually got a 1 rep max of 180 last week and then a two rep max of 185 this week. So I was very happy with that.

I did 5 reps of 175 push press, my 5 rep was 145, but...

Re: Pretty happy with my 5 rep Push Press

Kid and Chris, thanks for that advice. I wish I would have seen this before my 5-5-5-5 bench press today.

Re: Pretty happy with my 5 rep Push Press

I want to but we don't have an open gym ever so I can't just try it. Also, don't you have to work up to it? So it would still prob take a good 7 or so minutes after doing the warmups.

Pretty happy with my 5 rep Push Press

So I started April 20, and yesterday we did a 5 rep push press. We did this in August and I got 145. A month or two ago we did a clean into a push press and I maxed out at 175 and it took me...

Re: After 7 months...I can do double-unders!

Thanks for all the advice. This is sorta funny. After my initial horrible double unders a month ago, to being able to do them consecutively on a Tuesday, and then 10 unbroken on a Saturday, now I can...

Re: After 7 months...I can do double-unders!

I'm hoping not to be your exact size for longer. I think we need to lose 30 pounds first. I'm eating a salad right now haha.

I can do 3 chinups. But I wish you luck my friend.

Re: After 7 months...I can do double-unders!

Hahaha...no, that's not even a goal yet. I'm 41, 5'9 and around 208 pounds. So I got a gut to lose. An unassisted pullup has to come first.

But thanks.

After 7 months...I can do double-unders!

Just wanted to let out a Woo! here.

So I started on April 20 and couldn't do one jump rope. Then after a very frustrating WOD I asked some girls how to jump rope and when I left that day I could do...

Re: Can't talk straight after WOD

I know you're prob right, and I too hate the flop, but whenever I don't flop I get a headache and feel exhausted. If I flop and stay on the ground til I recover, I normally feel fine.

I don't think...

Re: First Deadlift Max Day

How old are you, how tall, and how much do you weigh? These are important questions.

45 burpees in five minutes def means you are in shape. Esp when you also get 100 singles.

As for deadlift, you...
