I found out a nearby box was closing 3 days before their final day. I was ****ed to find out they sold to some used gym gear...

Negotiate a deal whereby they pay you to refer your current members and perhaps buy your equipment at a discounted rate.

My approach has always been to program for the best athlete and modify for everyone else.

If I have even one athlete that can snatch, then why deprive him/her to make coaching/programming easier...

Never have an attorney draw something up from scratch. Give them a template with bullet points you want covered.

It's far cheaper to modify than it is to create.

Even if they don't train people like you, they can reveal their busy hours.

Each town will have it's own pulse. You can do trail and error or you can cheat and see when everyone else is busy.

They aren't as heavy as wood, so if you land on the edge, like you're not supposed anyway, then it'll flip.

Still, no one gets a serious injury from missing a jump on a foam box.
