I truly don't mean to be inflammatory here, but... maybe you just suck at swimming? When I first starting working out a year ago, I couldn't run for more than a minute or two without becoming winded...

And then a year ago I decided that needed to change. I signed up for an "extreme 5k" with some friends and was determined I would not be the last one over the finish...

How often does CFT come up as a WOD? Clearly I will be working on these movements as strength training outside of the metcon WODs, but how often do you 1RM?

CrossFit Total: first time
So we had the CFT WOD in the last week, and I'm wondering how all the first-timers did. I'm also hoping somebody will opine on my results and tell me if I did ok!!
Squat: 175, tried/failed 185...
