Re: Regarding Wednesday 161012

That's the meat and potatoes of the day's WOD. "Technically"... you should spend time prepping your body and warming up. Do some "skill work" then hit the WOD. After, you should cool down and do post...

Re: GHR worth the money?

If you're going to use this GHD for what it was actually created for, I'd steer clear. Personally, I can't stand doing Glute/Ham Raises on one with the giant rollers. I have a Rogue Abrams so I'm a...

Re: Help my squat (video)

Going a tad too low, or lower than you need to go. Knees have been mentioned. Try running a low bar vs high bar. Sit back more. Try squatting to a box and trust that it's there. I think your width...

Re: Why No Powerlifting at the Games?

Anderson Back Squats from pins, bench from pins, etc. That way they could alleviate the spotters. I agree that there is not enough. I like the strength stuff and could care less how far they can...

Re: Knee issues

Before SynVisc, Scolera Therapy was what they did. Either that or Cortizone. I never did the Cortizone. I used to get my ST injections once every 4 months for my knees. It made a WORLD of difference....

Re: I'm back to square one with my WODs thanks Wendler System and stupid me!!!!

When you do Wendler you should also incorporate conditioning. I don't know how many times I've done it. I don't do it anymore. I'm strict Westside. I do maybe 2 MetCons per month and can still hang...

Re: Justify the cost of Wodify

I think it's cool and cutting edge stuff but I've used RxGymSoftware for almost 4 years now. I pay $15/month and it does almost the same thing as Wodify. The only thing Wodify does that mine doesn't...

I think it's great for those who want to seek higher "CrossFit" education but I also think it's a great way for CFHQ to make more dough. It's a business and a very smart decision. A lot...
