Re: Let's talk Airdyne!!

Not entirely sure if it's an AD3 or AD4, but I scored a nice Airdyne for $20 last week. Needs a little cleaning, but otherwise good to go.

Re: Rogue KG Comp Plates - 2015

Color KG change plates just dropped and they look tremendous. Priced about as I expected, but a lot of people will be happy they're out finally.

Bill, out of curiosity, will there be a followup...

Re: Spun Performance customer service

Everything I've heard about his company has been great. I purchased a pair of their compression shorts last year and they quickly became my favorite out of several brands.

Re: Eleiko Men's Competition Barbell Review

Ricardo,

Great review. I love that you covered various aspects of the bars, just as you did with your review of the Ohio Power Bar (which I watched after you referred me to it from the Instagram...

Re: Eleiko vs. "Rongue" Barbell Comparison

Someone can claim "honest opinions" or integrity concerning their reviews all they want, but when you knowingly pit a $215 women's bushing bar against a $1,000+ Olympic-quality bearing bar and then...

Re: Rogue Ohio Power Bar Review!

Seeing those comparison pics makes you realize how much more aggressive the knurl is. The TPI looks to be much lower, meaning that each individual tooth is much bigger.

Thanks for the review!

Re: The Rogue barbell line breakdown by Matt Chan

Got my satin chrome Chan bar in yesterday and there were two surprises:

1. The center knurl is more of a texture than an actual knurling. Think smooth bar with a series of extremely faint cross...

Re: The Rogue barbell line breakdown by Matt Chan

I hear you on the center knurl, gentlemen. I've grown accustomed to squatting without it (I chalk up my upper back quite a bit), but after grabbing an old bar to squat with at the firehouse the other...

Re: The Rogue Ohio Power Bar is out

Wow, great looking bar!

It's refreshing to see some of the options that people have asked for come forth on a bar like that: bare steel option, choice of either LBS or Kilos, and a more aggressive...

Re: Anyone with a Rogue HR-2 rack?

I have the S-2 that was converted into the HR-2 using the conversion kit and it is solid. Not as much as a full rack bolted into the floor would be, but strong and heavy nonetheless.

Dips with...

Re: Competition Plates

Picked up a few sets of the new Rogue comp plates (matte version/new style) and they're great quality. New raised edges to prevent the faces of the plates from touching, same for the area around the...

Re: Can't decide on a bar...

They've either come out with new bars (several Oly bars and training variants) or done a lot of revamping on older models (Rogue, Bella, and Operator 2.0s, new Power Bar coming soon), so maybe the...

Re: Can't decide on a bar...

Their site states that it's bars that were either used or returned for whatever reason. Perhaps they're still in good enough condition to use or barely blemished, but the customer simply decided they...

Re: Can't decide on a bar...

If I recall correctly, each side's knurling is spaced out roughly 1 3/4" extra, so it isn't a ton. Unless you're pulling sumo or simply take a very narrow stance (and therefore narrow grip), it...

Re: Rogue bar 2.0

The Rogue bar (original 1.0 version) I purchased last year had an issue that was slowly, but progressively getting worse, so I emailed them about it and was graciously told that they'd send me a...

Re: Can't decide on a bar...

Good choice!

My Rogue 2.0 bar showed up today as a replacement (I'll post comparison pics in that thread later on if time permits) and I'm leaning towards picking up a satin chrome Chan bar as...

Re: Can't decide on a bar...

Most people have nothing but great things to say about both the Ohio and Chan bars, so either one would be a good choice.

Rogue has been good about getting their bars back in stock pretty...

Re: Rogue bar 2.0

That's an excellent write up on the bars. We'd need Mr. Henniger to make sure the specs and comparisons are all accurate, but the majority of them seem to be.

Great info for those that aren't...

Re: Personal Gear That You Use For CrossFit

My gym bag doubles as my bag to take to the firehouse for 48-hour shifts, so its contents are constantly rotating, but in terms of gym gear it's typically:

Lifting shoes (Adipowers)
Belt
Dip...

Quite a while back you had expressed interest in updating the Build A Barbell option you guys offer and stated that it would be a possibility once you had some of your new variants moving...

Re: Rogue Stinks

My thought exactly. That finish is identical to the olive drab color offered on their Operator bar or as an option when you build your own bar.
