i have this exact same problem and it comes from running/high impact activities (ex: plyometrics). I would be interested into how you are progressing in recovery, so be sure to keep us posted!...

compression shorts... i prefer underarmour to nike because nike's are thin and rip easier.. unless you just get some skin gear.

it feels and sounds like its coming from the rotator cuff/right where the arm connects to the socket... Is there anything preventitive i can do to help further this situation or whatever is going on?
