Re: Finnaly Finished my GHD

The frame is all 1-1/4" square tube steel. The adjusting parts are mounted on 1-1/2" square tube steel. It has holes drilled through the center of both to allow pins to lock the traveling parts in...

Re: Finnaly Finished my GHD

I used several of these to make these pads to make the split pad up. I took one and rolled it up and taped it. (think breakfast burrito here) I then matched the end of that pad with another and...

Finnaly Finished my GHD

I've been working on this a bit at a time for 3 months. Just would decide how to get one bit done and then stop while I think of how I want to do the next. I'm pretty happy with it overall but need...

My pulling sled build

Here is my homemade pulling sled. I work construction so I often run across bits of scrap steel and glom onto them for future projects like this. I did have to buy the 16" x 16" x 3/16" plate...

Maybe not the cheapest place to buy them from I just did a quick search to show you. They are not...

Re: Squat Stands and Bumpers

I like the idea of the plugs. (of course my stands are already drilled so...) It might be weird switching them out. Have to think on that bit. I used some pretty stout 3/8" pins that are used on...

Re: Squat Stands and Bumpers

Your welder was right. All the extra drilling was a royal pain in the butt. I went through a couple of bits and I even had a drill press. I went through more on my TAPS pullup bar knockoff...

Re: Garage Gym Store Med Ball

I agree, the GG balls look sick! I would probably stick to D-Balls for slams even though they slam the GG ball a few times in the video. It should hold up great from the looks of it. Only time and...

Re: Garage Gym Store Med Ball

So it's not much to look at as far as being able to see what I did but here is my homemade Dyna-Lyke ball. It turned out pretty good. Only problem is now I have to make another sand filled...

Re: Garage Gym Store Med Ball

Looks like it's a good thing I am building one. I can't pre order one from the garage gym store. I guess they can't ship to Canada yet.

Re: Garage Gym Store Med Ball

The swim kick boards are what I used to wrap around my homemade medicine ball to give it some padding and increase the diameter. I have about 3 layers of these things on the basketball.med ball. ...

Re: Garage Gym Store Med Ball

Looks awesome and the price is excellent. I just made my own (well still making ran out of material) Dyna-Like Ball. Did the sand filled basketball bit and wrapped it with these foam pads with a...

Re: Rogue or Elite II rings? I bought both!!

I have Elite rings and love them. One thing I liked was the strap going right through the ring. I had the cheapo sienne marine rings prior to the Elite rings and found it much easier to work with...

Re: York Globe DB

That's bad as H***! As cool as it is I would have to sell it and load up on equipment too though.

I'll start the bidding at $25 and you pay shipping to canada. LOL

Good luck with the sale, do I...

Re: power/speed sled

I figured guys that were using tires cut a piece of plywood to lay inside the tire and put weight on that. You could even add pipe to hold plates in place as well.

Re: Any Cheaper Rings Out there?

In my opinion, Elite rings are worth the extra cash. I had the Sienne rings from Seattle Marine that are one of the cheap options but there honestly is no comparison. Thicker handles with better...

I know how you guys feel. I scored a used air resistance rower for $50 2 months ago and love it! No electronics on it but I'm rowing anyway. I've looked all over on the net and can't seem to find...

Re: GHD Split pad measurements

Thanks. Didn't want to have them too far apart and not have enough hip on the pad causing weird pressure. I REALLY didn't want to do it twice either. If I can score some Vinyl in this one horse...

I am building a GHD with a split pad. I got to a certain point and realized I don't know how much of a gap the split is. I was just gonna wing it but don't want to have to unwrap and rewrap the...
