Re: Weight gain help!!

Do not add olive oil to a milk protein shake. Made that mistake once and it was revolting. Use coconut oil or butter.

Re: A question for those that WOD before bed...

I had the same problem for awhile with working Out late or having a soccer game end at midnight. I found a good cold shower helps me relax and sleep. I do this every time I workout late and have no...

Re: Help Gaining muscle mass. Too Skinny now.

This is a good guide to go by.

How many calories are you currently taking in, and from what? Outline your daily food intake.

If you want to gain weight, though, lift really heavy and become best...

Re: Vitamix vs Juicer

Google it. There are tons of recipes out there, just do a quick search and you'll get more than you know what to do with.

Off the top of my head, tomatoes and carrots go well with similar colored...

Re: Vitamix vs Juicer

Vitamix is superior to a juicer in every way shape or form. If you're using both fruit and vegetables, there is no too high of an intake. Cram good stuff in that thing and drink it to your heart's...

Re: Diet Evaluation

Eat whole eggs and eat them every day, not just Fridays. Granola, PB&J, protein bars, most yogurts all have a ton of sugar. Replace them with real foods.

Re: Gslp Vs 5/3/1

Gotcha. Weird deadlifting and squatting only every other week.

Re: Gslp Vs 5/3/1

From this link: Monday Max Effort Squat/DL

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but they're not saying ME Squat and dead on the same day are they? Or do they mean rotate every week?

Re: Oh no, not another egg site saying their bad for you

Thanks for warning me. I guess there's a reason he never said the link was safe for anything.

Re: Small guy looking for some comparisons

I agree. I think a skinny guy with a lifetime of undereating will up his consumption a bit and expect to gain a bunch, even though he's still eating under maintenance. I know a few people that are...

Re: Small guy looking for some comparisons

Adding weight shouldn't be more important than overall health. In my opinion, that is.

Re: Ok, ok, what about natural flavoring?

I have heard that stevia is much more expensive than other sweeteners. I don't know how true this is, but will the naturally flavored be much more expensive?

Re: What is your #1 strength training question?

I can deadlift at home, I can't imagine deadlifting in a smith machine. I rarely see anyone else squatting, but nobody has given me any heat for it. I just have to make sure I don't grunt cause...

Re: What is your #1 strength training question?

Ha yeah, no benches with a rack. The only racks are connected to smith machines. That is what I plan to do once we move. And yeah, it's a Planet Fitness.
Damn you tight budget, 10 dollar a month...

That's a good idea, I've never tried single leg squats before. Thank you.

Re: What is your #1 strength training question?

Thanks for the advice. This is what I used to do, but I can squat more than I can C&J, so I wouldn't be able to squat too heavy. Also, it's just me and my wife here, so I get nervous squatting heavy...

Re: What is your #1 strength training question?

What advice would you give to someone that has no access to a squat rack or bench for the time being?
Basically, I have a barbell at home, but no rack or bench to fit in my tiny one bedroom...

Re: Ok, ok, what about natural flavoring?

I never thought about it, but I like the idea too. You could start being looked at as environmentally conscious too and that's really important to some people.

Re: Ok, ok, what about natural flavoring?

I can say ON's natural line is great tasting and I like it more than their regular stuff. I think it's a good idea.

Question that you've probably addressed a million times, but I've never heard an...

Re: you name it I have probably done it

Track your calories, then report back. You can have the cleanest diet, but if you're eating over maintenance, you won't lose weight.

Re: Coconut milk protein shake

He's probably talking about the coconut milk you get in a carton, with the almond and soy milks. It's watered down and sweetened. I wanna say it's around 100 cals per cup or something like that.

Re: Question about my funky diet

Don't eat so much canned and packaged stuff. It's pumped with preservatives and salt. Cook the food and take it. Eat it cold if you have to, everything still tastes good cold.
