You might try looking up a little bit on the squats to alleviate the chest dropping. Everything else looks solid otherwise though.

May I recommend a three-strike rule when you are building up to heavy singles? Fighting at one weight (especially after already hitting a PR right before) can sometimes be detrimental to technique,...

Answer to (1) - start basing your training weights on your HBBS maxes so you don't feel like you have to switch styles in the middle of the work...

No prob. My wingspan is something like half a foot more than my height, so I actually hit more mid-thigh. It's definitely an individual thing.

Hip cleaning is only for people that have the right levers for it. I think your arms are long enough that the bar should be contacting on the upper thigh on the clean.
