OLY LIFT PRs!
 
All I have been doing is crossfit, and my Snatch and Clean & Jerk both are increasing without much training in either. We really don't concentrate on the pure lifts much, so this stands as yet another testimonial to "Specialization is for Insects".

Snatch PR, twice today. Tied the old PR of 75kg, then did 77.5 and then missed 80, but came back to nail it. I was so happy I decided to snatch today!

PR'ed on Clean & Jerk earlier last week at Morgan's gym at CF Tacoma, old one was 105kg, there I got a 106.8!

Last May in my first Oly lifting competition, I hit 70 and 105. I think it's time to put the singlet back on and crush those numbers!

201 lbs, which is a shade over 91 kg.

Hey, I just drove thru Castle Rock on I-5 last weekend!

Sweet. I'm about 10kg below a bodyweight snatch too (though it's a more significant gap for me since my bodyweight is about half yours).

Thanks, Steve. I guess the Clean & Jerks I did this morning reminded me I'm human. 100 kg felt brutal today. I was on my way up to cleaning 115 (250 lbs) in prep for "King Kong", but wasn't quite feeling it today.

Derek, the ultimate goal for me would be 100% BW Snatch and 150% BW C&J. That would be around 90 and 135 kilos!

Definitely feeling my goat though. My abs are STILL getting MORE SORE from Mr. Joshua 2 days ago, and can't even complete King Kong as Rx'ed. I love this stuff!

To add to this, I have been only doing crossfit and I did a 135# power snatch(not good at dropping below bar) which is a 15# pr for me from 3 weeks ago. Crossfit definitely adds strength.
