Progenex fails to meet label claims.

So it doesn't sound it's even fancy whey protein with added BCAA's and leucine anymore...

I don't even take a supplement protein shake or anything. Not even fish oil.

Actually that's a lie, I take a multi, and pantethine. But those are really the same I don't think......

I don't workout at a box, so I can't say from experience, but are there actually CF'ers that swear that Progenex is better than other proteins? If so, do they use it because they think it works better, or because Progenex is trendy with CF'ers?

Personally, I've never used the stuff and wouldn't bother - I think I've learned by now that 99.99% of outlandish supplement claims are too good to be true.

You have no idea how naive most CF'ers are. They will typically buy anything some coach says to use because many lack any sort of education or background in using supplements. They already spend 150 a month on CrossFit Class, so whats 70 bucks for some overhyped and overpriced protein.

It's simply because they don't know better.

this. you need to remember that for a lot of people, all this fitness and eating right can be overwhelming. you have so many things going on (what to do, when to do it, what to eat, what supplements, mobility etc..) that it is easy to just look what other people are doing. when you see so many great athletes push or promote something like Progenex, its easy to just say "hey, it must be working and worth it if these guys are using it".
