Weighted Vest or Pack

I'm in the market for either a vest or pack that I can load for box jumps and sprints. I've used some before that move too much when I jump, as in fly up and hit me in the back of the head. Can anyone recommend a good one?

Weighted vest would be a lot better for those two applications. I like the ones they sell at most sporting goods stores, they've worked well.

Although I wouldn't do box jumps or sprints with one, that's pretty hard on the joints already, let alone with added weight.

Depends on your price point.....I own the MIR 40# short vest and I recommend it. It's comfortable and I've never had any issues with it. It's been reliable for about the last three years. I use it for conditioning and while doing WODs like the Murph Challenge. I bought it on sale thru Amazon for $60 (I think); they're a bit more expensive now. Less expensive would be like:

I have a MIR 40lb one also. It has worked well over the last 2 years. I wear it when I walk (not jogging/running) for about 25-30 mins.

Stays in place for most part when I have jogged (all of them bounce a little). Have used it for murph and it did fine, I on the other hand hated life.. ;)

Have used with box jumps and it does good. I always take it down to 20lbs when doing Box jumps. I would also make sure to not be too fatigued as that extra weight will catch you off guard when jumping and can cause a bad box scratch on a wooden box.

MDUSA is having a vest (valentine and other stuff sale) today too. 2 vests, 20lbs and 60lbs for 169$.
