I'm doing a 20 mile walk in June for the AFSP. We're going from 8PM straight through to 5AM. Does anyone have any good snack suggestions to bring with me on this walk. I stick to the paleo diet pretty well and have read some of Loren C's books....I'm just looking for ideas other than protein bars and the such. Thanks.

Beef jerkey, dried fruit, nuts.

Dry meet and fruits will make you thirsty. And fresh fruits weigh more. You also might consider protein/snack bars, some of them can go along with many types of diet.
I usually take fresh juicy fruits, nuts, Labrada Lean Body protein bars on a long hike/canoe trip.
